The Fernie Mountain Bike Club (FMBC) is a member-based, non-profit organization who’s mandate is to build, maintain and ride the Fernie trails.

Collaborating with other groups including the Fernie Trails Alliance, the FMBC encourages recreational and competitive cycling for all ages and abilities and promotes responsible mountain biking practices and land use. The FMBC is an integral part of advocating for access of trails, management and maintenance of recreational mountain bike trail use.

Little Critter Criterium Rides

  • Criterium style rides- competitors complete as many laps of a short course as possible in the alloted time. 
  • For every lap of the course completed the rider puts his/her name in for draw prizes. 
  • Geared to riders 12 and under. 
  • Training wheels are not appropriate, run bikes and tag-along bikes are okay.
  • Dates: First Monday of the month June - September

FWOW - Fernie Women on Wheels

  • Weekly women's ride on Wednesday evening beginning in June
  • Start times and meeting locations vary
  • 2 groups - suitable for all abilities
  • Check Fernie Women on Wheels Facebook Group for updates & info

Tuesday 2NEE Races

  • Fun, fast races held every Tuesday evening mid-summer.

All events are free to participate in, but require Membership with the club. 

The Fernie Mountain Bike Guide Book and Map can be picked up a many of the great bike shops and gift stores in downtown Fernie, at the Fernie Visitor Information Centre or online from the Fernie Fix.
