Join pottery artist Penny Rinas to learn how to make your very own hand-built pottery dish.

Saturday April 16: Handbuilt Casserole Dishes with Penny Rinas (adult pottery class)

  • Make your own functional art at this fun introduction to hand-built pottery.
  • 2-4.30pm
  • $75, includes all tools, materials and firing

Sunday April 3: Felted squares with Becca Musso (beginner adult workshop)

  • Create a piece of felt embellished wiht fabric and yarns that you can then take home to make into a cushion, bag, wall hanging or other crafted item.
  • 10am-2pm
  • $40, includes all tools and materials

Monday April 11: Felted pictures with Becca Musso (childrens workshop for ages 4-6)

  • A fun, energetic workshop creating mini works of art in ziplock bags using hands, feet and the whole body. A great intro to felting for kids!
  • 9am-Noon
  • $20, includes all tools and materials

Sunday April 24: Felted flowers with Becca Musso (beginner/intermediate adult workshop)

  • Learn how to make 2 types of flowers using resists. A great intro to fibre manipulation, which can then lead into 3D fibre art.
  • 10am-2pm
  • $40, includes all tools and materials


Workshops at the Arts Station

The Arts Station offers dedicated adult and children workshop throughout the year. Classes and workshops vary in duration and may be one-off events featuring a visiting artist, drop in series, scheduled weekly event, weekend camp or other format. Past and current events include feltmaking, pottery, painting, drawing, graffiti art, drama, creative writing, lantern building, crafts, encaustic art, jewellery making, sculpture, film-making, and much much more!
