The kick-off to the Fernie Mountain Biking Season - BBQ Social, bike swap, kid's bike event and more!
Come and meet Fernie bikers at the Station Square in Downtown Fernie, learn about weekly rides, special events and plans for the summer. This is a great event for our regular visitors! Volunteers are needed for the weekend, email the FMBC by using the email button on this page.
The 2019 BIKE BLITZ has been re-imagined to feature group rides, music, a BBQ, memberships, merchandise and the FMBC AGM. Ride on!
LINEUP:
11:30am - 3:30pm: All Day BBQ
Noon: Group Rides, departing from Station Square
1pm: Mud Muncher Kids Ride, Station Square
3:30pm: AGM, Station Square
Participants must be a member of the Fernie Mountain Bike Club - only $40 to join for the year for individuals, or $90 for families! Sign up online or at the event.
FMBC Membership includes access to great mountain bike events all summer and is your unofficial 'trail pass' to ride the Fernie Mountain Bike Trails. Fernie Trails Alliance Members do not need to purchase a Fernie Mountain Bike Club membership, and vice-versa, one membership covers both organisations. Sign up today before you hit the trails!
