July 25: Forage in the Forest 

  • Take a hike in the park with Lee-Anne Walker and use your senses to forage in the forest for food, medicinal plants, and inspiration for technology.     

Time: 5:30-8:30pm

About Lee-Anne Walker, Wild Nature Tours Guide:

Lee-Anne Walker came as an interpretive naturalist for the summer in 1983 and never left.  Teaching natural history for the local college mountain adventure program, she has worked as an eco-tour guide guiding hikes, snowshoe tours, canoe trips and step-on-bus tours.  Her enthusiasm and knowledge of Fernie's natural and human history will inspire a unique sense of place.
