Beanpod Chocolate, located at 691 2nd Ave in Historic Downtown Fernie have been honoured with the title of 'World Finalist' at the Canadian National Chocolate Awards for their delectable Fernie Dark Chocolate Lavender bar, infused with real Lavender from Salt Spring Island, BC.
They are the only recepients of recognition in the flavoured dark chocolate bar division in Canada; and will therefore be the sole representative in the category at the International Chocolate Awards in London in October. The "Fernie Lavender Bar" will be competing for the world title of Best Flavoured Dark Bar against companies from Switzerland, England, Ecuador, USA, Caribbean, Madagascar and Italy.
