New visitor guide will focus on local and valley arts, heritage and cultural experiences.
Tourism Fernie, in partnership with the Fernie Museum, The Arts Station, the Heritage Library, the valley Chamber's of Commerce, and Destination BC will be launching the area's first Cultural Guide for visitors this spring. The Guide intends to be printed 2-3 times per year featuring updated content and features. The first guide will be available for visitors by the end of May, with a digital version of the guide also available to promote and share online.
Content within the guide will consist of cultural attractions, events and gallery listings, features on places, people and experiences and more.
"We are very excited to launch this new Cultural Guide for visitors coming to the valley, but also to attract new visitors," said Jikke Gyorki, Executive Officer at Tourism Fernie. "The collaborative group is seeing much support for this initiative that we hope will continue beyond this inaugural year. Without the matching funding support from Destination BC and local partners it wouldn't be possible."
To help support costs of design, content creation and printing, the guide will only have two full page ads per issue available for purchase. For more details on available ad space and the guide in general please email email@example.com.
