"The Master of Style" and "Elmer". The last one was a nickname from close friends and Mark Gallup was one of the closest. Sharing years of friendship, Mark captured Craig from the quietest moments, to the loudest moments. "Craig had his public side and his private side". Says Gallup. "His guard would always be up, but when he had someone's trust, the real Craig came out." Mark was able to capture Craig Kelly, the pro snowboarder, and Craig Kelly, the confidant.
Jason Ford, one of the best snowboarders of his time was quoted in the book, Bears Above The Valley as saying "Mark and Craig were like brothers. They lived together, worked together, and travelled together…..I know they loved each other tremendously." This exhibit captures all sides of Craig. Legend, friend and brother.
Exhibition continues until Monday, January 26th.
