Fernie Alpine Resort offers childcare for children aged 18 months to 6 years of age, including combined daycare and ski programs.

The daycare operates daily during the winter season from 9am-4pm and is located on the ground floor of Cornerstone Lodge. Parents will have the comfort of leaving their children in professional care while they enjoy time on the slopes.
Book in advance for half-day, full-day or multi-day care. Lunch or snacks can be booked in advance. Rates start at $39.95 - $45.95 for a half-day.
Private Ski or Snowboard Lessons:
For children aged 2-5. This 1-on-1 lesson is 1 hour long with a certified instructor experienced in teaching small children. When booking please help us determine your child's ski ability ahead of time. Rentals area available upon request, also ask about their Ski & Play Lesson Progam.
Please ensure your child has the appropriate clothing for outdoors as well as a change of clothes for indoors.
Reminders: Children arriving at the Resort Kids Childcare must arrive and be booked in by a parent or legal guardian. You will have a registration form to complete before dropping off your child(ren). Please provide health insurance information and photocopy of immunization record and a small picture of your child upon your arrival.
Cancellation Fee: 24 hours is required for canceling or you will be charged according to the programs that you have booked for your child(ren).
Late Charges: A late fee of $20.00 will be charged for every 15 minutes late picking up your child at the end of the day. This applies to all time and age categories.
Allergies: We are a nut free centre. If you bring your child a bag lunch or snacks, we ask that you not bring any food containing nuts. If your child has allergies please ensure we are aware of them and please provide your own food for your child.
