2025 Chairlift Operations: 

Elk Chair: Daily 10.30 am - 4.30 pm. Thursdays until 7 pm
Timber Chair: Open on weekends, starting June 28/29 (some blackout dates may apply)

    • Bike events including the BC Cup/Canad Cup DH Race (Dunbar Summer Series), and SCOTT Wednesday & Thursday Night Race Series and Intro to Racing.

Why take the chairlift if you’ve got an e-mountain bike? The resort now allows uphill bike traffic (e-mountain bikes* or regular mountain bikes) on a specified uphill route at the FAR Bike Park. E-Bike/Enduro ticket required for trail use, read full details.

Winter in Fernie

In winter, Fernie Alpine Resort is one of North America's top ski and snowboard destinations with 145 runs, 10 lifts and a Village Base area offering lodging, dining, activities and shopping. Winter ski season operates from early December to mid-April.
