The Fernie Aquatic Centre is a multi-purpose indoor facility providing both leisure and educational aquatic experiences.

COVID-19 Update: The Fernie Aquatic Centre is scheduled to reopen mid-late September.

Aquatic Centre Current & Holiday Season Hours & Rates

Drop-In Rates:

Adult: $6
Senior/Youth: $5
Child (7-12): $4
Preschooler (3-5): $3
Infants: No charge with paying adult
Family: $15

The Outdoor Splash Park is open in the summer months and is free to use. 

The Fernie Aquatic Centre is a hit with residents and visitors alike. Located in the heart of Fernie, just a couple blocks from Historic Downtown with stunning views of the surrounding mountains.

The facility includes four bodies of water:

  • a small leisure pool perfect for small children
  • waterslide
  • an eight-lane 25m competitive pool, used for both casual lane swim fitness and competitive meets. Pool also has diving board and rope swing.
  • a 25 person whirlpool

Additional facility features:

  • steam room
  • pool viewing area
  • small meeting room available for rent (great for birthdays and business meetings)
  • retail swimming suits and swim accessories
