In operation since the early 1960s, the Fernie Memorial Arena is one of Fernie's core recreational facilities servicing residents and visitors alike.
Lace-up and hit the ice for famkily skating or shinny hockey with availability from September to May! Great exercise and great fun for the whole family.
Public Skating: All ages welcome. Kids under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult aged 16+. No sticks or pucks
Skate & Shoot: Bring a stick and take shots on net. No game play or slap shots. All ages are welcome.
Shinny: Casual, unoffical games for ages 19+.
Please note: Public skating is not scheduled during Fernie Ghostrider home games and other scheduled special events.
