Discover small-batch handcrafted spirits in the custom cocktail bar, learn about the process with the head distiller and watch the distilling in action through the picture windows. The tasting room is open regularly throughout the week with a relaxing patio for outdoor libations.
We use proven age-old techniques and the best quality ingredients to produce spirits we can be proud of. Our product line will start with No 9 Mine Vodka, Fernie Fog Liqueur and will grow to include a variety of infusions, unique barrel-aged and seasonal batches.
Fernie Distillers produces less than two hundred bottles per batch with production spearheaded by one of the few female distillers in the industry.
Every small batch is made by our Distiller, every bottle is filled and corked by hand and every label is applied with pride. Focusing on small batch production means we can give our full attention to every single bottle we produce.
NO 9 MINE VODKA
Hidden amongst nature’s regrowth are tales of Fernie’s past. Coal Creek is where Fernie’s rich mining history all started. Our No. 9 Mine Vodka celebrates the dynamic and underground stories untold. A wheat based vodka, rich in flavour and distinctly smooth.
FERNIE FOG LIQUEUR
It was 1898 when the mighty locomotive made it to Fernie bringing people and carrying the stockpiles of coal. Our Fernie Fog Liqueur celebrates its echoing past and integral part of Fernie's future. An Earl Grey tea-infused liqueur with vanilla and demerara sugar.
