The 2026 BC Rugby Saratoga Cup will take place in Fernie this weekend, bringing together the top teams from Central Interior Rugby, Okanagan Rugby Union and Kootenays Rugby Union for a showcase championship weekend:
Men's XV Teams:
- Vernon Jackals RFC (Okanagan Division Winners/Defending Champions)
- Terrace Northmen RFC (Central Interior Division Winners)
- Rocky Mountain Rogues (Kootenays Division Winners)
- Elk Valley RFC (Kootenays Division Runners-Up/Hosts)
Women's 7's Teams:
- Elk Valley RFC/Penticton Harlequins
- Rocky Mountain Rogues
- Trail RFC
- Yeti Rugby
- Valhalla Valkyries
Spectators can enjoy a beer garden, food, merch and great entertainment!
Saturday: 10 am - 5 pm
Sunday: 11 am - 4:30 pm
Hosted in collaboration with Elk Valley RFC, the event marks the return of the competition to the Kootenays and will celebrate the very best of summer rugby in the province.
Come on down to the fields at Max Turyk Community Centre at 897 Mt Washburn Street to watch all the action.
