A book launch event for Shelby Knudsen's latest novel: One Night Only.
Shelby Knudsen has been a member of the all-female band Wild Honey for more than a decade. Her first novel, Mountain Girl, was an intense thriller about forbidden love and captivity. Her second novel, One Night Only, launched in summer 2024. Knudsen writes a monthly column in the Fernie Fix. She grew up in Cranbrook and now lives in Fernie, B.C. with her husband and daughters.
Knudsen's novel is tense and unrelenting; the author masterfully creates an immersive, claustrophobic atmosphere as Sky's health, relationships and sense of self become increasingly strained.
