A weekend of thrilling down-hill mountain bike racing is returning to Fernie Alpine Resort! Almost three hundred (!) of Canada's top mountain bikers descend on Fernie as they compete for BC Cup, Canada Cup and UCI points, with fast racing, fierce competition and podium finishes on the line. 

Fernie Alpine Resort is proud to partner with Dunbar Cycles, the Canadian Cycling Association and Cycling BC to host the Fernie Legendary Summer Canada Cup / BC Cup Downhill Race!

Competitors can expect a fun, technical race course complete with the infamous “Canadian Section” steeps. This Canada Cup / BC Cup DH race is part of the Dunbar Summer Series.

Spectators Welcome!

Spectators are welcome to come out and can watch the race either from the finish line or along the course (walking up from the base). For everyone's safety, spectators must stay outside of the race tape and are not permitted to cross the race course.

No lift tickets required for spectators.
