Nolan Drew and Mary Stankevicius are new members to the Fernie community. Their exhibit features a series of large scale abstract paintings with notes of flora and fauna, each creating a background atmosphere for a corresponding ceramic sculpture. The viewers' eye is led from painting to sculpture, creating the illusion of a glimpse into another world.

Artist Biography

Nolan and Mary earned their Bachelors degrees with a major in ceramics and painting. They started Throwing Neon Studios together in 2014 and have been creating collaborations ever since.
