The show features a variety of media and artistic styles that are represented in the guild, including acrylic, oil and watercolour paint, collage and mixed media. Viewers will also experience a wide range of artistic approaches, from realism to abstraction, as the artists reveal their vision, subject matter and emotions through their work.

Artist Biography

The Visual Artists' Guild represents a diverse gathering of artists from the Fernie area who explore many types of media and approaches in their creative expression. Members of the guild support one another through social interaction, sharing ideas, volunteering at community art events and organizing group projects and workshops that are often open to the general public. Guild members aspire to developing personal growth as well as promoting the arts in the broader community.
