The Fernie Museum gallery is proud to present a new show and online auction showcasing the work of Calgary/Fernie landscape and figure artist Richard Crump (1944-2014).

Crump was born in Saint John New Brunswick and traveled throughout Canada and Europe during his childhood. A self-taught artist, he enjoyed creating works in oil, watercolour, acrylic and pastel. He was also a member of the Federation of Canadian Artists and participated in many group and individual shows where he won awards for his work. Following Rick’s passing, his family wished to show his life’s work in the very setting which provided him with so much inspiration, and to fund arts education in the Elk Valley.

All funds raised will go to the Arts Station youth education programs and the Fernie Museum.

Opening reception snacks and beverages provided by the Fernie Museum. All welcome.

On display until February 8, 2027.
