The Fernie Half Marathon, 10K & 5K Run (or walk) it's in its 24th year and has become a classic in Southeastern BC.

The all-trail course that winds along the Elk River and follows a community trail system is both challenging and beautiful. With seamless organisation, professional chip timing and easy registration the Fernie Half Marathon is a great choice to end your running season.

This race is very community oriented as it supports local youth through The Fernie Academy, a local non-profit independent K - Gr 12 school.  The whole school is out on event day to cheer on the racers and help facilitate the overall event.
