The Mountain Market is a member of the BC Association of Farmers Markets (BCAFM). The BCAFM aims to support, develop and promote farmers’ markets in British Columbia so local food continues to thrive while maintaining the highest level of safety. Farmers Markets are considered an essential service.

September 27: Harvest Market

Celebrate the end of the Mountain Market season with a special Harvest Market featuring live music, artisan demos, food trucks, community presentations and more!

• Three music tents throughout the market will showcase the talents of six local musicians including: 
  • Kylie Rogers Walker, Natalie Krause, Arthur Joseph, Zoe Bond, Mitchell Martin, Fernie Uke-a-Ladies
• The gazebo will come alive with artisan demonstrations, featuring pottery, quilting, spinning, and weaving including:
  •  Fernie Fibre Arts Guild, Fernie Quilters Guild, Throwing Neon Studios
• Community groups will be on hand to share the inspiring work they do to strengthen our community, including:
  • Fernie Pride Society, UPLIFT Community Support Association, Columbia Basin Alliance for Literacy, East Kootenay Invasive Species Council, Rotary Club of Fernie
• Food trucks will be offering up tasting treats, including:
  • Buff’s Smokin’ BBQ, Northstar Coffee Co., Flippin Crepes, Ding Dong Donuts, Cotton Candy Cowboy. Heavenly Kernels
• Plus all your usual favourite vendors and producers, including over 14 local farmers. 

Mountain Market Schedule

Every Sunday from 10am to 2pm at Rotary Park from June to September 

A large kids park adjacent to the market location will keep kids entertained for hours while you enjoy the vendors' offers.

The final market of the season is a special Harvest Market with live music.
