Join like-minded enthusiasts for an action packed weekend of riding!
Most ride options are 175 - 225 km long, approx. 4 - 6 hours at a safe pace, including stops.
Important Route Info:
- There are NO fuel points on any of the routes so riders with smaller tanks will need to carry extra fuel.
- Please plan to be prepared for 250 km, fully self sufficient in terms of fuel, spares parts, tool kit, packed food, drinks and suitable clothing for mountain exploring and unpredictable mountain weather.
- EVADRS will provide GPS routes so participants can choose to explore with their own group or are welcome to join a group with a ride leader. There will be a few different routes and ride leaders to choose from. Participants can select the rides most suited to them based on duration, difficulty and distance.
- All motorbikes must be street legal, registered and insured, and while all ability levels are welcomed, a basic gravel road riding skill level is required.
Schedule:
- Friday Meet & Greet, 5-9pm in Fernie. Food and beverages available for purchase. Live music. The planned routes will be on display and EVADRS Directors will be available to answer any questions.
- Saturday morning pre-ride Breakfast snacks.
- Two days of group rides: Saturday will be a full day of riding and Sunday a shorter day.
- Saturday Evening BBQ & Social, at the Fernie Fox Hotel - includes a hearty meal, entertaining games and prize giving. Family members can join the BBQ for an additional $30, purchase at the registration link.
Registration:
- The event is restricted to 50 participants so please register as early as possible to avoid disappointment!
- Weekend ticket: $145, includes a t-shirt and buff.
- EVADRS membership required: $35 individual/$60 family
Event Update from the EVADRS:
As of noon on Friday, August 28, 2026, the temporary ban on recreational off-road vehicle use (ATVs, motorbikes and side-by-sides) on Crown land in many parts of BC (including Fernie area) is being lifted. The restriction was put in place as a wildfire prevention and mitigation measure.
