Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Groups of 6 or more may not be able to be accommodated due to limited seating, but can pre-book a private shuttle or taxi at their own cost.  The shuttle doesn't run on Monday or Tuesday.  The daytime route is different than the evening route.

Partners behind the #Ferniestoke Shuttle

The shuttle program is funded by tourism dollars and is a partnership between Tourism Fernie, Tunnel49 and the City of Fernie

The shuttle buses are the same ones used for the winter service, which are owned by the City of Fernie and were purchased in 2022 through tourism funding from the provincial Resort Municipality Initiative. This summer pilot project is operationally paid for by Tourism Fernie who has contracted Tunnel49 to operate the scheduled service this summer.
