Local shuttle service during the ski season helping passengers get between downtown, various accommodation areas and Fernie Alpine Resort.
The FernieStoke SHUTTLE APP (via the App Store and Google Play) is required to ride the shuttle, purchase & redeem tickets, find stops and track the shuttle live.
NOTICE December 31st - A 2nd bus has been added to support the daytime service as needed due to high demand. The 2nd bus will follow the same schedule. Use the App to track the buses.
Ticket pricing is $5 each way per person, $45 for a 10-ride pack. Kids under 6 ride free with paying adult. Tickets MUST be pre-purchased using the app (no cash sales). GST is included.
Daytime service operates daily 7:45am - 5:00pm Saturday December 6, 2025 - April 12, 2026 - view detailed route and schedule. NOTE: morning route and stops are different than afternoon, review and plan ahead.
Evening service operates daily 5:30pm - 11:00pm Friday December 19, 2025 - April 5, 2026. Extended service on New Years Eve. NOTE: evening route and stops are different than morning and afternoon, review and plan ahead.

Partners behind the Ferniestoke Shuttle
The shuttle program is managed by a non-profit organization and is funded by tourism dollars. It is a partnership between Tourism Fernie, the City of Fernie and Fernie Alpine Resort. Additional funding is generated by ticket sales and advertisers on the buses. The service is operated by Tunnel49 for 2025/26 season. Funding for the purchase of three new buses in November 2022 was through tourism grant funding from the Provincial Resort Municipality Initiative.
