Fernie's extensive year-round trail system is managed by a variety of groups.
NEW January 2025 - Winter grooming app has just been launched to help show grooming efforts in a more live and timely way. The app is by Nordic Pulse and can be downloaded on your mobile device via Apple Store and Google Play. Once downloaded, for free, search for Fernie. Please note that Fernie has many local groomers, many volunteer, and this app is a new element for them to use consistently while grooming. Please respect the freshly groomed trails, the groomers who work hard and please adhere to signage.
Below brings together the different online sources of information from local groups and organizations that manage the various trail systems in and around Fernie. Winter trail grooming updates are not yet consistent or convenient in our little town but we're working on it! :-) The Fernie Trails Alliance is currently working on a snow grooming App in partnership with Tourism Fernie and community trail groups to provide one convenient location for winter trail grooming updates, stay tuned!
