Tunnel49 Taxi operates in Fernie, and services up to 100km radius from Fernie.

As of May, 2024, Tunnel49 will operate on a reduced schedule:

  • Monday & Wednesday: 8 AM - 5 PM
  • Friday & Saturday: 8 AM - 2 AM
  • All other times, emergency service only at charter rates.

Fleet:

  • Dodge Caravan with wheelchair accessibility. Capacity of 3 passengers + 1 wheelchair
  • YukonSUV, electric hybrid. Capacity of 7 passengers.

Accepted forms of payment are cash, debit and credit. Taxi rates are determined by the Transportation Board of BC.
