FBC's tasting room and store feature an airy space to enjoy sampling the Brewery's brands and to pick up products and merchandise. Outside, the patio space is very popular in the summer months and often offers BBQ on product launch days. Although expanded in both size and product range, FBC stays 100% true to its roots, offering simply; Cheers to Charity Sample Flights, 12oz pours, Growler fills, limited bar snacks and the full range of packaged product to go, plus practical, wearable and usable clothing and accessories.
Up to 12 fresh from the source beers are offered on tap – rotating through core beers, seasonals, and limited-release brews as soon as they’re available. A limit of 48oz per person per day limit applies to in-house consumption.
FBC use Rocky Mountain Water, Barley, Malt, Hops, and Yeast for premium, award-winning beers, ales, and lagers. With a large year-round and increasing seasonal lineup, there's plenty to taste and see at FBC!
FBC merch + beer are also available for in-store pick-up. Simply order online, then pick it up inside FBC's Tasting room at 26 Manitou Road in Fernie.
Brewhouse experts offer the full low-down on the brewing process and packaged lines. FBC is part of the BC Ale Trail and celebrated 20 years in business in 2023.
Cheers to Charity Sample Flights
Enjoy a tasty flight for $12 and support local initiatives through FBC's Cheers to Charity Program! All profits go to a local charity, organization or club rotating every 6-8 weeks, making it the perfect way to make a visit to FBC’s Tasting Room count. Since it began in December 2013, over $231,939 (as of August 7, 2024) has been raised with every cent donated to a local charity or organisation.
Trail to Ale Challenge
For those looking to work for their pint, Fernie-style, the Trail to Ale Challenge is back for another year. Conquer 3 challenging well-known Fernie peaks under 24hrs and get rewarded with a refreshing pint and medal at the FBC Tasting Room. This challenge had mountain bikers, runners and hikers paying for their pints in blood, sweat, and tears last summer and its return has been long-awaited by many.
