2023 summer Chairlift Hours: 
Elk Chair Hours: Daily 10:30am - 4:30pm daily; until 7:00pm on Thursdays

NB: Elk Chair is currently closed as of August 17, 2023. Timber Chair will run daily until the Elk Chair is running again. Operations subject to change without notice, please visit the Fernie Alpine Resort website or social media for details.

Timber Chair Special 2023 Opening Dates:

  • July 2nd, August 5th & 6th and September 2nd
  • Chairlift hours: 10:30am - 4pm 
  • Lost Boys Cafe open for drinks & snacks: 10:30am - 3:30pm
  • Live Music from Loop Hole & Twisted Tree 12 - 3pm
  • Hiking Trails available from top of Timber Chair:
    • Pika Pass
    • Lost Boys Lookout
    • Siberia Ridge
    • White Pass Road
    • All other trails closed
