The global labour shortage has affected everyone. Island Lake Lodge has had to adjust their hours, services and access as a direct result of this shortage of labour as well as fulfilling the many special weddings booked and rebooked from COVID-19 cancellations the past two years. The new schedule of operations will ensure what is available for visitors and locals is met with exceptional service levels.
Visitors can drive up to Island Lake Lodge on the beautiful private road through 100-year-old giant cedars for lunch or dinner on the spectacular patio. Experience the blissful Fernie spa, canoe or kayak on the tranquil lake or hike into the high alpine with a guide or solo. Gentle nature trails are also available along the lake and amongst the towering cedar trees. Come for a day visit or stay the night. A perfect place for weddings, gatherings and retreats, Island Lake Lodge provides an intimate setting with privacy, comfort and the best in service and style.
