Rooms are furnished with relaxation in mind - pillowy soft beds, gentle accents, warm wooden walls. As an off-grid, backcountry resort, there are no in-room TVs or air conditioning. Wifi and cell service is available throughout the lodges. Drive up to Island Lake Lodge on the beautiful private road through 800-year-old giant cedars to stay the night and enjoy the inspirational surroundings. The access road is rugged, please allow yourself about 20 minutes to drive up.

Enjoy gourmet dining paired with a bottle of wine from Island Lake Lodge's extensive wine cellar, to satisfy any foodie. Access to hiking and dining is available but please check calendar for operational days and hours. Island Lake Lodge has non-operational days and private function closures, be sure to plan your visit.
Island Lake Lodge is easily accessible in summer via Mt Fernie Provincial Park Road. Look for the large wooden Island Lake Lodge sign on Hwy #3, halfway between the City of Fernie and the Fernie Alpine Resort turn-off, across from the Fernie Stanford Resort. The road is an access road, so allow yourself 20minutes to drive up.
