IMPORTANT COVID-19 Update: BC Parks is a system of parks and camping areas managed by the provincial government, as such preferential access to overnight camping this summer at all BC Parks will be given to BC-residents. Some first-come first-served sites may be available to out-of-province residents. Day-use of parks are open to everyone whether from BC or other provinces.
About Kikomun Creek Provincial Park
Lake Koocanusa is 30 minutes from Fernie and is popular for motorized boating and house boating and Surveyors Lake is non-motorized, both are great for swimming. Located in a dry sunny area of the province, this Park preserves an example of Interior Douglas fir and Ponderosa pine forest and grassland habitat. Paved roads within this family-oriented park are conducive to biking.
