The Arts Station features an exciting program of year-round classes, workshops, and programs including everything from pottery, weaving, painting, giant puppet making, theatre, and dance.
In response to the COVID-19 situation, The Arts Station is closed to the public until further notice.
The Art Station School Tour programs combine educational exhibition tours and hands-on art activities. Art activities provide a fun, creative extension to the students’ learning experiences, while they develop specific artistic skills. Tours are guaranteed to stimulate dialogue, facilitate questions, and complement the fine arts curriculum, as well as encourage the exploration of art.
The Arts Station offers a program of workshops throughout the year, including Cultural Saturdays every week, starting January 5th. See website for details.
Classes and workshops vary in duration and may be one-off events featuring a visiting artist, drop in series, scheduled weekly event, weekend camp or other format. Past and current events include feltmaking, pottery, painting, drawing, graffiti art, drama, creative writing, lantern building, crafts, encaustic art, jewellery making, sculpture, film-making, and much much more!
