Experiencing the Fernie Factor

Updated: February 2024
Fernie is known around the globe for its epic powder snow. Every winter the majestic mountains that surround our little town get on average 30ft (almost 10 meters) of it. Some days it just snows and snows, and that's what we like to call the Fernie Factor.

Care to know what it means? We'll let the images do the talking.

And when it snows like this at night, you know the Fernie Factor is on for another day.
