Denise Baughan is an actress, director and educator who calls Fernie home. Originally from Ontario, she holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from the University of Windsor and Bachelor of Education from Vancouver Island University. Denise has had many opportunities to work as a performer, educator and director. She is a vocal advocate for the arts and community outreach programs are one of her main priorities, as she believes that art, theatre and music should be accessible to all.
Working as an educator, one of Denise’s favourite things to do is share her passion and love for theatre and storytelling with her students. Her workshops are inclusive, fun, and welcoming to a variety of abilities (from the first-time participant to the seasoned actor).
