Local shuttle service during the ski season helping passengers get between downtown, various accommodation areas and Fernie Alpine Resort.

The new SHUTTLE APP (via the App Store and Google Play) is required to ride the shuttle, purchase & redeem tickets, find stops and track the shuttle live.

Operations have now ended for the 2024-25 winter shuttle service  - thank you for your patronage!

  • Shuttle daytime service operating dates are November 29, 2024 until April 13, 2025.
  • Added evening service runs December 13, 2024 until March 30, 2025.
  • Ticket pricing $5 each way per person, $45 for a 10-ride pack. Kids under 6 ride free with paying adult.
  • Download the new app!  FernieStoke Shuttle App - buy tickets on the App, track the shuttle, see schedules and more.
  • Overnight guests with pre-booked stays under 27 nights with the following accommodators can connect with the front desk to obtain shuttle ticket codes for a limited amount of complimentary tickets. See info sheet attached.

Partners behind the Ferniestoke Shuttle

The shuttle program is managed by a non-profit organization and is funded by tourism dollars. It is a partnership between Tourism Fernie, the City of Fernie and Fernie Alpine Resort.  Additional funding is generated by ticket sales and advertisers on the buses. The service will be operated by Tunnel49 for 2024/25 season.  Funding for the purchase of three new buses in November 2022 was through tourism grant funding from the Provincial Resort Municipality Initiative.
