Fernie's biggest Christmas tree bonfire hosted by Fernie Fire Rescue - all welcome!
Join the community at the Fernie Aquatic Centre for this free family-friendly event! Come out and socialize by the fire. The will be a barbeque, hot and cold drinks available, plus fire performers, Hip Hip, Murrae, and Ember. Bring cash for the raffle - great prizes to be won! In aid of the Fernie Trails Alliance.
Bring your Christmas tree to the bonfire on the day of the event. Alternatively, you can drop them off at the Semi-Permanent Fire Hall at the Public Works Yards between January 2nd and January 5th. Look out for signs outside the Public Works Yard directing you to the designated drop-off spot.
Fernie Fire Rescue will also be picking trees up curbside January 6 in Maintown, the Annex, the Airport and Ridgemont starting at 8am (please don’t leave your tree on the curb before then.)
