Fernie's biggest Christmas tree bonfire hosted by Fernie Fire Rescue - all welcome!
Join the community at the Fernie Aquatic Centre for this free family-friendly event! Come out and socialize by the fire. The will be a barbeque, hot and cold drinks available, plus fire performers, Oodra Movement. Bring cash for the 50/50 draw! In aid of the Fernie Freestyle.
Bring your Christmas tree to the bonfire on the day of the event. Alternatively, you can drop them off at the Semi-Permanent Fire Hall at the Public Works Yards between December 30 - January 3. Look out for signs outside the Public Works Yard directing you to the designated drop-off spot.
Fernie Fire/Rescue will also be picking trees up curbside January 4 in Maintown, the Annex, the Airport and Ridgemont starting at 8am (please don’t leave your tree on the curb before then.)
