The night kicks off with Pressure Drop, Teton Gravity Research’s 30th annual film — a fast-moving, snow-filled journey featuring freeride legends Jeremy Jones, John Jackson, Maggie Voisin, Sage Cattabriga-Alosa, Nick McNutt, and more. From British Columbia’s deep powder fields to the spines of Alaska, Norway’s Lofoten Islands, and Jackson Hole, this is winter adventure at its finest.
The stoke continues with After the Snowfall from Matchstick Productions — a soulful, visually stunning tribute to skiing’s heart and heritage. With standout athletes like Michelle Parker, Nico Porteous, Nikolai Schirmer, Mark Abma, and Logan Pehota, the film explores the passion and risk that unite mountain communities around the globe.
The films will light up a large-format screen with professional image and sound, complemented by Fernie’s favourite local vendors — serving up fresh pizza, popcorn, and craft beer from Fernie Brewing Co.
The Fernie Ski & Board Film Fest is famous for its epic prizing. Attendees will have a chance to win catskiing trips, skis, outerwear, and more. Every ticket holder also receives a 2-for-1 lift ticket voucher to Fernie Alpine Resort.
All proceeds from the evening support the Fernie Volunteer Ski Patrol, whose dedicated team provides over 400 days of volunteer service in Fernie and Elkford each winter.
