THE QUIMBYS are the dynamic duo of Ferdy Belland (vocals, guitar) and Erin Dalton (vocals, ukulele, kazoo), who bring a tongue-in-cheek approach to the classic romantic-partners-as-folk-duet approach, but we aren’t talking Sonny & Cher here. The Quimbys’ repertoire stretches across Blue Rodeo, the Cowboy Junkies, the Tragically Hip, Crowded House, Robert Plant & Allison Krauss, Celtic folk traditionals, and whatever else their musical whims whisk them off to.
