The historical Knox on 2nd is the perfect venue to showcase the first Symphony of the Kootenays chamber concert in many years. A ten piece ensemble will perform chamber pieces from Mozart to compositions by SOTK's own Aura Pon.
Symphony of the Kootenays is based in Cranbrook, BC, the smallest community in Canada to host a professional symphony orchestra. The orchestra has entertained more than 80,000 audience members and employed more than 5,500 musicians playing more than 600 pieces in more than 225 concerts. Musicians are paid professional fees for service., students receive an honorarium.
