A lively bluegrass band to round out the concert series.
Tickets ONLINE or at the door: $22
Pitting hard driving bluegrass undertones against an array of sparkling country-rock influences, The Blue Wranglers are Dustin Bentall on vocals + 6 string guitar, Dan Fremlin on vocals + mandolin and Jamielynn Caswell on everything else. The band frequently showcases the Cariboo songbird Alyssa Omura on vocals and the smouldering talent of Tommy Krowiak on Telecaster guitar.
Keep your ears peeled for The Blue Wranglers' debut album, which might be coming some time in 2023. Written and arranged by The Blue Wranglers themselves, the album features regional hits such as "Down The Road", "Rocky Mountain View" & "Hello, Today"
With Special Guests: Wild Honey
Wild Honey is an all-female roots trio based in the East Kootenay region of spectacular British Columbia. The band of busy mothers has been together for a decade, and has just released their second album, an EP titled ‘Let’s Be Cowboys’. Recorded and produced by Canadian music legend Barney Bentall, the songs are compiled and delivered with gentle grace. Always inspired by their mountain towns and love of the outdoors, Shelby, Jessica, and Laura were searching for a sound that celebrated these passions.
