Spring has sprung and the trails are calling your name! Hit the trails in Fernie for a fun weekend of running and celebration of the start of the running season.
The weekend includes group runs, vertical challenge, Minotaur Monday good eats and plenty of great Fernie Brewing Company libations to quench that thirst! The 6th annual Trails In Motion Film Festival screens on Sunday.
Fernie is proud to welcome running enthusiasts from communities around the region including Canmore, Kimberley, Crowsnest Pass, Lethbridge and Rossland. With sweet sponsors, prizing and events, it promises to be a great weekend of all things trail running in Fernie!
TICKETS:
- $10 per person to cover insurance for running. All runners: please sign a Fernie Trails Alliance waiver AND sign up online to partipate in the run weekend!
- $20 for the Trails in Motion Film Fest - tickets available online.

SATURDAY
AM: Group Run – a great way to meet and great, and test out the trails.
PM: Vertical Challenge, sponsored by Elevation Showcase – a fun vertical challenge, with sweet prizing!
Evening: Social – beers and banter to wrap up the day.
SUNDAY
AM/PM: Long Run, sponsored by Lost Soul Ultra and Purcell Outdoors – opt in/out as you wish!

MONDAY
AM: Minotaur Monday! Organised by the Meet the Minotaur and sponsored by Spry, in the nearby Crowsnest Pass – promising a fun morning, Minotaur style! A perfect way to wrap up a sweet weekend. Complete all 5 runs/events, and be entered into a sweet draw prize!
