Stomp to the sound of the coolest tunes in the Rockies. Wapiti is a celebration of the best in fresh Canadian Indie. But more than that, Wapiti is a vibe. Wapiti is a feeling. Wapiti is a way of life. Wapiti began in 2011, with a two-year pandemic hiatus in 2020-2021; 2025 is the 13th annual event!

Serena Ryder
Toronto-based Serena Ryder is a platinum-selling artist known for her raw songwriting and electric live performances. With seven JUNO Awards, including the 2022 Adult Contemporary Album of the Year for The Art of Falling Apart, Serena shares her mental wellness journey through her music. Blending pop, folk, roots, and even children's music, she has earned numerous accolades like Canada’s Walk of Fame Allan Slaight Music Impact Honour and the Margaret Trudeau Mental Health Advocacy Award. A passionate mental-wellness advocate, she speaks nationwide, supports Kids Help Phone’s Feel Out Loud campaign, and empowers emerging artists through her ArtHaus Community nonprofit.
Shad
Shad is a celebrated Canadian rapper known for blending entertainment and social insight. With five acclaimed albums, over 30 million streams, a Juno Award, and multiple Polaris Prize nods, he’s also hosted CBC’s q and starred in Netflix's Hip-Hop Evolution. His latest album, TAO, dropped in October 2021.
Shred Kelly
Shred Kelly, from the Canadian Rockies, blends alternative, folk, and rock with captivating live performances and heartfelt songwriting. They've toured globally, played major festivals like SXSW and Winnipeg Folk Fest, and shared stages with acts like The Dead South. Nominated for Rock Artist of the Year at the 2021 Western Canadian Music Awards, they continue to rise with their sixth album, produced by Nygel Asselin.
Alex Cuba
Alex Cuba’s warm, soulful sound blends Funk, Soul, and pan-Latin textures, captivating audiences worldwide. His joyful music transcends language, earning him 2 Junos, 4 Latin Grammys, and a 2022 Grammy for Best Latin Pop Album. Whether performing with Sheryl Crow or co-writing with Nelly Furtado, Alex’s songs create a sense of home, belonging, and bliss.
