Skill level: Beginner/Intermediate
First Alex will explain the qualities of colour, including the most important: tonal values. We will learn how to use a colour wheel by selecting schemes for a limited palette, then you will have the chance to put the information to use by painting a simple provided image in 3 different colour schemes.

Workshops at the Arts Station
The Arts Station offers dedicated adult and children workshop throughout the year. Classes and workshops vary in duration and may be one-off events featuring a visiting artist, drop in series, scheduled weekly event, weekend camp or other format. Past and current events include feltmaking, pottery, painting, drawing, graffiti art, drama, creative writing, lantern building, crafts, encaustic art, jewellery making, sculpture, film-making, and much much more!
