Trailhead Access - Park at Lot 4 at Fernie Alpine Resort. The initial part of the XC trail is an uphill to access the main loops, fish bone up or walk up with your skis, uphill takes about 10 minutes. If you walk up stay to the edge of the groomed track so you don't create boot holes in the track. Keep an eye out for XC skiers coming down off the trails.
The forest trails at Fernie Alpine Resort are multi-use - dogs, fatbikes and snowshoes are all welcome. Please stay out of the nordic tracks unless you are wearing nordic skis and pick up after your dog.
