Fernie Golf Club - 10th May
Fernie Golf Club will be celebrating its landmark 100th Anniversary this year so be ready for a whole week of celebrations on 3-7th July. Also, this season sees the launch of the new Cast Iron Grill restaurant located in the clubhouse. Absolutely perfect for those post-game drinks.

White Water Rafting - May 12th
Judging from the snowy winter just gone, we're expecting the Elk River to be extra wild this spring. Take a tour with Canyon Rafting or Mountain High Adventures, and they'll steer you through thrilling whitewater, stunning canyons, scenic wilderness. Sure to be one of the best adventures of your life.

Camping - June 1st

Aerial Park - June 1st (advance booking)
Harness up and unleash your inner ape traversing the treetops up to 60ft off the ground. River Opening for Fly Fishing - June 15th
We've been fishing the lakes around Fernie for a short while now, but nothing beats casting dry flies on Fernie’s pristine freestone rivers. Fernie has three guiding companies operating float, or wade tours and can point you towards the hungriest Cutthroat and Bull Trout in our waters. If you've never cast a rod before don't be afraid to ask about beginner lessons.
Bike Park & Scenic Chair Rides - June 23rd
Fernie Alpine Resort's chairlifts start turning on June 23rd. Now the snow's away, the downhill mountain biker can play. If that sounds a little too intense, how about taking a relaxing scenic chair ride up towards the subalpine for a hike. The views down the valley are stunning.
