Fernie has two ice rinks open for public use. You can skate indoors at the Fernie Memorial Arena. Fernie also has a NHL size outdoor rink by the Aquatic Centre donated by the Calgary Flames Foundations in 2017! Don't worry if you've forgotten your gear. Skates are available for rent at Gearhub Sports, who also offer sharpening services.
The Fernie Curling Club offers drop-in sessions from January each winter - try a true Canadian sport this winter!
