For family with younger childen we recommend the section between Maiden Lake, Dogwood Park, and James White Park. Each areas have easy access to water to cool off during the hot summer days.

The heart of Fernie's vibrant community is the small but perfectly formed Historic Downtown. Shops, cafes, bars line the sides of downtown. Beanpod Chocolate & Gelato is a firm favourite for kids and adults alike.
