1. Scenic River Float

Beat the summer heat by floating the beautiful Elk River. Join our local operators for a relaxing guided float through the Elk Valley. Take in the beautiful scenery along the way, and the chance to spot some of the native wildlife. This is a great trip for the whole family with experienced guides and lots of opportunities to jump in for a refreshing swim.

2. Lift Accessed Bike Park

If your kids are looking for something to raise the heart rate after a scenic chair ride, you should definitely explore the lift-accessed bike trails at Fernie Alpine Resort.

3. Dirt Jumps & Skills Park

Don't be intimated by the name. The Fernie Dirt Jump Park has a series of progressive lines suited for new rider just getting their wheels off the ground to those working on nailing that first backflip. In the same area you'll also find the mountain bike skills course and pump track.

Rotary Park is located on 6th Avenue across from Park Place Lodge and features play structures for kids small and big, grass areas, seating areas and a gazebo. There is plenty of open green space for playing frisbee, having a picnic or playing catch.

7. Annex Park

Annex Park is a natural area surrounded by community trails, it features a duck pond, grassy open areas, and shaded picnic facilities. This is a great place to introduce the little ones to our resident ducks. Dogs are welcome on leash.
