Join author Anne Gafiuk to explore the lives of some of the people whose names are recorden on Elk Valley headstones and cenotaphs.
Carved in Stone is a collection of stories of the men and women from the Elk Valley who served during WWII, as well as those who are commemorated on the Fernie and Sparwood cenotaphs.
Author Anne Gafiuk will talk about the cenotaphs, as well as how the book came to be, along with a story or two of the men whose names are carved in stone, with a visual presentation.
Books will be available for purchase for $30.
