It's dumping snow in Fernie! Come and ski or ride the powder - free skiing for locals! 

FREE day of skiing and riding for residents of Fernie, Elko, Elkford, Jaffray, Sparwood and all residents living in the Elk Valley, as part of the annual Community Appreciation Day.

A fundraising BBQ will be held with all proceeds going towards the Fernie Food Bank.

Photo ID and proof of local residency (drivers license, pay stub, utility bill, etc.) are required to receive the lift ticket. Tickets are only valid on January 14th and snow checks will not be issued on complimentary tickets. Cranbrook and area residents were welcome to enjoy Community Appreciation Day at Kimberley Alpine Resort on January 7th, 2018.

February 19th: 12-14 Age Group Qualifiers
February 20th: 15-18 Age Group Qualifiers
February 21st: Finals (All Age Groups)
