Spring, Summer & Fall Shows at the Arts Station in 2025 will feature a wide variety of forms and mediums. 

Gallery Exhibits open at 7pm on Thursdays. All are welcome to enjoy the new works at a friendly reception featuring complimentary appetizers and cash bar.

April 24: Shea Caughlin: When the Sun Goes Down

When the sun dips below the mountains, the forest becomes a world of wonder and magic. As the light fades, the air becomes crisp and the sky transforms from golden hues to soft ethereal glows from the moonlight. The creatures of the forest begin to stir; owls, foxes, moose, elk, and rocky mountain sheep. Shea's collection of oils on canvas will highlight the beauty of the Elk Valley area from dusk to dawn. May 29: Rozzy Hibbard: Whimsical Wonders

This solo exhibition is an exploration of the stories from the artist's own imagination told through character based illustrative works. Each work is a window into the invisible world that she sees beyond the physical, where whimsical characters venture and teach us simple truths. This exhibit will feature works in mixed media including watercolour, inks, gouache, acrylics, pencils and paint pens in drawn, painted & 3D forms. Read more...

June 26: Our One Small Acre - A Group Show

*On display throughout the summer*
An expression of concern and care for the nearby places where we have impact, with the understanding that we are not separate from the peoples across the globe who suffer from climate crises, displacement and war. Sep 4: Peggy Black: Adventures in Thread - Art Quilts

Peggy Black is known for her bold, abstract artwork where she explores the impact of line, shape, and colour. Her new foray into textiles and art quilts is reflected in this exhibition; an exploration of the fascinating things that can be done using fabric, thread and imagination to showcase striking pieces of art. Read more...

Oct 2: Fernie Visual Artists Group Show - If These Walls Could Talk

The Fernie Visual Artists Guild consists of like-minded creatives and makers all at different levels in their art journey, from beginner to more experienced. Working on 4ft lengths of wallpaper, the artists collaborated to create a cohesive collection of artworks in a wide variety of mediums, each incorporating their work with a human quality. Read more...

Oct 30: Kevin Frank: Projecting

“Projecting” invites viewers to navigate the relationship between place, and mental health. This exhibition employs two forms of artistic expression: digital pinhole photography and abstract painting. Through these mediums, the work explores the landscape of Fernie, British Columbia, where the tangible beauty of the external environment intersects with socio economic factors that can at times feel extremely taxing. Read more...
