The annual Griz Days Festival was named Best Winter Festival by Avenue Magazine in 2023, and is traditionally Fernie's biggest event, encompassing the entire community from Fernie Alpine Resort to the Provincial Park to the Highway and Historic Downtown Fernie. It is a full, wild weekend of activities and live entertainment for all ages.
The Tasting Room at Fernie Brewing Company is a great spot to sample the range, pick up packaged product or get your growler filled. There's also a great range of clothing and branded merchandise - perfect for winter in the mountains.
